Plenary - Annual Report on Fundamental Rights in the EU 2018-2019

On November 24, the European Parliament is scheduled to hold a discussion on the Annual Report on Fundamental Rights in the EU conducted by the EU Fundamental Rights Agency (FRA) for the years 2018-2019. The Report covers the areas of Rule of law, democracy and fundamental rights, migration, women's rights, media freedom, freedom of expression and freedom of assembly, racism, xenophobia, discrimination, hate speech and other forms of intolerance as well as the recommendation for EU legislators to request independent and external human rights advice from FRA whenever a legislative file raises serious fundamental rights issues.
